This competitive funding opportunity provides comprehensive support, including an investment ranging from $150,000 to $500,000 in exchange for an equity stake. The program spans 90 days of intensive immersion, featuring structured workshops, strategic advisory services, and access to a global network of impact investors and industry experts. It aims to guide African ventures toward operational maturity, strengthen growth strategies, improve investor readiness, and scale measurable environmental and social impact. The accelerator is designed for early-stage and growth-stage startups with validated MVPs or early revenue traction, strong founding teams, and scalable business models. Katapult actively seeks African innovators developing solutions to critical global challenges such as food security and environmental issues, with a focus on areas like clean energy, sustainable mobility, circular economy, sustainable agriculture, and frontier climate markets. Participants also gain access to follow-on funding opportunities for high-performing companies during Series A rounds.

Interested startups can submit their initial application materials online. The selection process involves several stages, including application submission, screening interviews to present the business concept, comprehensive due diligence, and finalization of investment terms.
