Africa Health-Tech Accelerator 2026
About this opportunity
The Africa Health-Tech Accelerator 2026 is a six-month pan-African program designed to transform innovative health-tech ideas into scalable, investment-ready ventures. Organized by Africa Health Tech and co-hosted by the Africa CDC and Africa Health ExCon, the program aims to equip early-stage health technology startups across Africa with mentorship, tools, seed funding, and ecosystem access to build market-ready solutions for pressing healthcare challenges. It bridges the gap between innovation and commercialization, guiding startups from concept validation to investor readiness through a structured, execution-driven curriculum. The program culminates in a Demo Day where selected startups pitch to a distinguished network of investors, policymakers, and industry leaders across the continent. Eligible applicants are early-stage health-tech startups and SMEs with a minimum of two founders, an MVP, and a commitment to scaling across Africa. Participants receive structured online training, one-on-one mentorship, seed funding, network and investor access, pitching exposure, and continental visibility. The program focuses on health-tech innovation areas including digital healthcare, data and intelligent technologies, medical and pharmaceutical innovation, and access, prevention, and health services.
