Nasaru Naturals
The world's first carbon-negative spirulina farm, growing the world's most nutrient-dense food at its origin; 2x cheaper
About Nasaru Naturals
Spirulina has grown wild in Africa's Rift Valley lakes for millennia — yet 100% of global production happens in chemical-fed factories in China and the US. Nasaru Naturals is fixing that.
We've built a natural farm next to Lake Natron in Kenya, using the lake itself as the feed source — no synthetic inputs, no CO2 emissions. The result is the world's first carbon-negative spirulina, produced in partnership with the Maasai community, at half the cost of conventional farms.
Currently at pilot stage (200kg/year), scaling to 5,000kg by 2026. Each kilogram sold funds school meals for Maasai children and flamingo conservation at origin.
We're actively raising to scale production and reach superfood brands globally.
