About this opportunity

MassChallenge's Traction programs are designed to help early-stage founders access crucial networks, mentors, domain experts, and peers to clarify their path, validate their approach, and build the credibility needed to advance. These programs focus on go-to-market strategies, strategic exposure, and early commercialization to open doors to customers and investors. The program is a 10-week, zero-equity accelerator, meaning there are no program fees and MassChallenge does not take equity from participating startups. It is suitable for category-defining founders from Pre-Seed through Series A+, including those who are pre-revenue or generating millions, provided they have a validated product and are ready to scale. MassChallenge prioritizes commercialization and aims to help founders achieve specific milestones that unlock customers, capital, and scale, focusing on outcomes like go-to-market readiness, defensible strategy, and investor readiness. The program is open to startups across all industries globally, with specific tracks in areas such as Agtech & Foodtech, Materials & Industry, Healthtech, AI, Autonomy & Cybersecurity, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Climate and Sustainability, Financial Inclusion, Security & Resiliency, and Sustainable Food Systems.

How to apply

Applicants must create a founder profile on the MassChallenge Accelerate platform, complete an application form detailing their problem, solution, traction, business model, market size, impact potential, financials, and future milestones, and upload a pitch deck. An optional 1-minute introductory video is also recommended. The application process involves two rounds of judging: an initial online review by an expert panel, followed by virtual or in-person interviews with a pitch and Q&A session for selected startups.
