Enygma Ventures

Enygma Ventures is a purpose-driven investment fund focused on fostering sustainable economic growth by investing in and growing Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) within the SADC region. The fund places a unique emphasis on empowering, mentoring, and funding women entrepreneurs, believing that economic growth is achieved by leveling the playing field and driving progressive change through female empowerment. The fund is led by award-winning entrepreneurs with a combined 40 years of experience in growing and scaling businesses across Africa, the USA, and Europe, offering their expertise to help founders succeed. Enygma Ventures specifically targets female entrepreneurs located in the SADC region.

Enygma Ventures runs calls for investment three times a year on a rolling basis. Female or mixed-gender-led, for-profit SMEs based or operating in the SADC region can apply online. Equity investments range from US$25,000 to US$1,000,000; idea-stage founders may first join the Pranary programme.
