Cascador ScaleUp Program

The Cascador ScaleUp Program is a 12-week leadership and business development experience designed for growth-stage founders in Sub-Saharan Africa. It aims to prepare founders to successfully deploy growth capital and build enduring companies. The program offers bespoke business analysis, leadership development, and practical strategic guidance, focusing on strengthening both the company and the founder's ability to lead at scale. Participants gain a clearer business model, defined path to scale, stronger capital readiness, and personalized connections to experienced advisors and capital partners. Eligibility requires companies to be 2+ years in operation, generate over $70K USD in annual revenue, and be based or operating in Sub-Saharan Africa. The program culminates in a clear pathway to capital through the Cascador Catalytic Fund, which deploys up to $5M USD annually in debt, equity, guarantees, and collateral support to alumni. Additionally, participants are eligible for a $5,000 founder stipend upon completion and $50,000 in pitch prizes. The program combines remote and in-person sessions, including intensives in Lagos, Nigeria.

Applicants begin with a 15-minute preliminary application. Selected founders are then invited to complete a full application, followed by semi-finalists submitting additional materials including financials, and finalists proceeding to interviews.
